The documentary topic I will be choosing will be about Education which will be about teens not knowing what to do after they leave high school and what their future will be I don’t really have a title for this topic but it is something that I feel should be addressed. 

This documentary will be an interactive style documentary as I will be interviewing and talking to students and teachers in the college that you will see throughout the documentary I will also be speaking to the view in the first part to tell what this interview is about.

My target audience would be the council of Grt Yarmouth as they have what is needed to help fix schools and my secondary target audience would be parents and teens who are going to choose on what they want to do after high school. The reason I chose parents as my secondary target audience as they can be as effective as the council if you get enough parents interest in this issue I am showing.

The aim of this documentary is to show people how many students are having trouble knowing what they want to do in the future and career. I feel like we need to fix this which will help the area out as a lot of teens are dropping out of high school not knowing what they want to do after their exams.

I am going to film in the college so I don’t have to risk taking out equipment that I have borrowed from the college to beak and also when I want to interview someone we don’t have to travel far we just have to go to the room I will be doing the interviews from and it Is more easy and simpler to do it this way.

I will need students and possibly teachers if I can get a hold of one, I won’t need a crew as I just need to set up the camera to have the interviewee in the shot. I won’t be needing experts or witnesses throughout the production.

What were your options when leaving high school and did you like them?

What were the problems you faced when choosing what you want to do after high school?

I won’t be needing props or costumes for this documentary. I don’t have any plans on spending money on this production and don’t really need to as the documentary will consist of me asking students at my college so I won’t be traveling to any area to film.
